Session Recaps

Our team participated in three sessions across the week. Here’s a recap of what we presented.

Wednesday, May 13

Session: Redefining Gene Delivery Through Plant-Based Manufacturing (sponsored by Qiagen)

Description: Cirsium presented in-process AAV characterization data in collaboration with Qiagen, showing how dPCR enables accurate genome titer quantification from crude plant lysate and go/no-go batch decisions in under three hours.

Thursday, May 14

Abstract #269: Detailed characterization and quantification of post-translational modifications on AAV capsids produced in whole tobacco plants using peptide mapping and LC-MS/MS

Description: Cirsium presented LC-MS/MS peptide mapping data comparing PTMs on plant-produced AAV9 and AAV2 capsids to HEK293 reference material.

Friday, May 15

Fireside Chat: Engaging with ARPA-H: Funding Priorities And Future Directions

Description: Cirsium’s CEO, Dan Gibbs, joined Daria Fedyukina, PhD from ARPA-H and, ASGCT President, Terence Flotte to discuss agency funding priorities, how to engage with ARPA-H programs, and emerging regulatory signals shaping the future of cell and gene therapy.
